Lisa M. Iulianelli

Lisa Iulianelli is an associate at the firm and has been since 2006.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Iulianelli was one of the top intercollegiate debaters in the country. On scholarship, she attended Wayne State University, Kansas State University, Samford University, and Cumberland School of Law. Ms. Iulianelli is admitted to the State Bars of Michigan, Alabama, and California, and has practiced law since 1990. She started her practice at the largest medical malpractice defense firm in the country and, for five years, worked on an elite team litigating nothing but birth injury cases.

In her career, Ms. Iulianelli has handled dozens of cases involving brain damage and has spent in excess of 15,000 hours researching, litigating, and lecturing on the topics of fetal monitoring, perinatology, neonatology, infectious disease, pediatric neurology, pediatric neuroradiology, nurse midwifery, vocational rehabilitation, and life care planning.

Prior to and since joining the San Diego office of Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McKenna, Ms. Iulianelli has handled a variety of other, complex medical-legal matters, primarily involving catastrophic damages. Her comfort level with the medicine and her proficiency in the law make her a formidable advocate. Her dedication to her clients and to the defense of health care professionals is unparalleled.
