Dmitriy Cherepinskiy

Dmitriy Cherepinskiy joined the Long Beach office of Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McKenna in 2003, where he has been representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, residential care facilities for the elderly, skilled nursing facilities, and pharmacies. In his capacity as a case managing attorney, Mr. Cherepinskiy has handled over 100 cases, including matters with alleged medical professional negligence with catastrophic damages, fraud, conspiracy, products liability, and other matters. While at Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen & McKenna, Mr. Cherepinskiy has acted as a second-chair trial counsel in a number of cases, and has successfully litigated and obtained dispositive rulings in high profile matters, including a Federal internet pharmacy case and several actions stemming from the 1995 California fertility litigation. Mr. Cherepinskiy began his legal career with the Stuart Law Firm, a boutique West Los Angeles law firm specializing in invasion of privacy and medical malpractice matters.
Mr. Cherepinskiy received his B.A. in business economics from the University of California Los Angeles in 1999. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law in 2002. While at UC Davis Law School, Mr. Cherepinskiy served as a member and was appointed editor of U.C. Davis Law Review. He also received the Witkin Award for Academic Achievement in Legal Writing. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central and Northern Districts, as well as to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Cherepinskiy is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.
Mr. Cherepinskiy enjoys traveling, photography, and music. He is also an avid auto enthusiast whose car hobby ranges from reading about cars to hands-on maintenance and restoration.
